A quality portable ECG machine is easy to provide in-field medics with a life-saving device. So, if your unit hasn’t updated its equipment recently, consider replacing the one you have. Since new ones feature enhanced capabilities, they’re more efficient and do better jobs. That’s why most places have swapped to them already, but it’s not too late now. Using an ECG simulator has proven to be easier than traditional methods. Since the device is much smaller, they’re able to fit anywhere needed. Put them close to areas with lots of traffic, so they’re available and nearby.

Even though an electrocardiogram requires heavy equipment, you can do a simulation in-field. Once it’s connected, you can see various waveforms, including VF. It has the ability to list VF, VT-HI, VT-LO, and NSR as well.
Setting one of them up is not as difficult as a full-sized machine, either. Since it doesn’t take up as much room, you don’t have to go anywhere in particular. Simply place it on a patient and ensure everything has been hooked together. After connections establish, the readings display right on the screen. So, you don’t have to send anything into the lab if all you’re viewing is the waveform. Plus, selecting a particular waveform is as simple as pressing a button.
As far as its power source, 4 AA batteries are all that’s needed. Replacing them will allow you to prolong the equipment’s lifespan, too. It’s just like putting new ones in a remote if you’ve done that at home before.
