* Once the compressor is received, they drain all oil and fluids and dispose of them in an eco friendly manner.
* After draining, workers completely take apart the entire unit all the way to the casting.
* Vital components like seals, bearings and valves are removed and discarded. They are then replaced with brand new parts.
* The casting is carefully inspected for signs of cracking or scoring inside the cylinder walls.
* Pistons, crankshaft and inner components are inspected for signs of wear. If they do not meet industry tolerances, they are replaced.
* The stator is tested to ensure it works properly. If not, a new one is made for replacement.
* After replacing all worn parts and a complete cleaning, your remanufactured AC compressor is put back together and everything is properly tightened down.
* Using nitrogen, the compressor is tested to ensure there are no leaks in the system.
* Oil is then placed in the compressor and a thorough testing is done to make sure it is in prime operating condition.
