Many times, after people view the décor of your restaurant, it is the menu itself that can make or break a dining experience.

Know Your Surroundings

Take into account your competition and what your guests are looking for. Location can dictate some elements of your restaurant. For example, if you are located in a residential area this will food choices because you will probably want to offer family style options or at least a variety of kid-friendly options.

You might be inspired to fill the menu with a massive choice of entrees that range from appetizers to desserts, yet it’ll be challenging to offer such an expansive menu if you don’t have adequate kitchen size for the staff and food ingredients/products needed to fulfill on menu. Know Your Food

Make sure to fill your menu pages with a wide selection of what you offer as well as great visuals to entice guests. Sometimes too many options can be distracting and overwhelming to people. Strike a balance in between providing a variety of options and sticking to what you are good at. Keep in mind, you can always feature certain menu items or seasonal specials in a smaller menu.
